I have a knife block on my kitchen counter. It was a light colored wood, but now, it's a pop of color! I decided to add some splash to that corner of my counter because my cabinets, my canister set and the knife block were all similar in color.
I was inspired to do this by a pin I came across on Pinterest. It's a very simple DIY project - give the wooden knife block a coat of primer, then a coat or two of color. It was nice and sunny and warm today, and it took me less than 20 minutes to give the knife block a face lift. I chose a bright, fun orange since I have some other orange elements in my kitchen.
Your knife block looks great, and I love the pop of color. I want to see more! Can't wait for the home tour . . . Happy spring, Patty.
