We haven't had any snow since the unusual storm at the end of October (I'm not complaining, mind you!). Finally, over this past weekend, we got some snow.
Sarah, Ben and I (and Sophie) went out to play in it on Saturday afternoon and I used my iPhone to get a few Instagram pictures.
{ ^ Ben is wearing two layers on his head to be "extra warm"... his headwarmer (that matches his scarf) from Aunt Leann and his wool hat from Tante Amy. His idea. :-) }
^ They have a fort built from a tree trunk and its roots that was dug out of my neighbor's yard. They added some old boards - it's pretty neat.
^ I had to laugh at this - they brought Greg out in a plastic bag. Greg is a Webkinz. He is a part of our family. They play with him so much and they have a voice for him, too. He comes with us everywhere we go. So Sarah came up with the idea of putting him in a clear bag so that he could come outside and play in the snow with us.
^ Sarah made a snow angel. I think she could have fallen asleep. She spent the night before at a sleepover birthday party with some girlfriends. It was a late night for them and she was a tired girl.
^ Benny was eating snow like it was going out of style. Gotta love that!
Today was rainy and the snow is melting away. I have to say I'm not sad to see it go. (Sorry to all of you that like the white stuff.) I am counting down the days until SPRING. :-)
