I love my chalkboard coffee cup. I use it every day and I write a new message or draw pretty pictures on it each time.
This time around I was thinking about Spring... and the fact that Winter hasn't even officially started yet, so Spring is a loooong way off!
I drew cute, little spring flowers around my cup and they brought a smile to my face. Just something small, something simple....
.... a little detail from my day. :-)
I am seriously considering painting a wall or section of a wall in my kitchen with chalkboard paint. Has anyone used it and, if so, what do you think about it?
i've never seen a chalkboard cup......how cute!! and that little muffin sitting next to it looks mighty good, too!!! xox

We used it on a dresser for Nathaniel. First my husband used magnetic primer (took many many coats to be magnetic) and then covered it with chalboard paint. It works well and he loves it. If we had a designated playroom I would def. paint a walk with it.

Both my sister in-laws have a chalkboard wall in their kids' playrooms, and my mother in-law has 3 blocks of chalkboard areas on a door in her kitchen. They are great! My nephews love to use them.
If you want I can take a picture of my mother-in-law's kitchen door this weekend?

We painted a wall in the basement when the boys were little. They loved it. - E

Funny you should ask! I recently cleaned some old candle jars. I then painted a chalkboard "label" (basically a rectangle) on them so that I can put any sort of thing (cotton balls, buttons) and then write on the label the contents of the jar. I also did this on a clean smooth jar (maybe pickles) and put pencils on it and wrote "write stuff". Have fun!
