ho ho ho-ly smokes, it's been a week already

sheesh time flies when you're busy running around like a crazy woman

Hi! How is everyone? Busy, I'll bet.

Some pictures to share from the past week......

First off, our lovely Sophie, who has a Christmas jingle when she moves...

Sarah and me, decorating the tree.....

 

Sarah is now quite good at it, after years of helping. When she was little she would hang all the ornaments on the same branch and it would be weighed down to the floor almost!

 

Tah dah!

 

Soooo many ornamants with a story behind them. I took pictures of the ones Todd made when he was a little boy...

 

 

 

 

It's neat to have them. I look forward to having a nice collection of ornaments for Sarah and Ben someday, with all the things that they have made for the tree over the years.

Ben was one of the kings at church last Sunday. The first grade CCD class puts on a little nativity play each year....

   

He's to the left of the group, wearing red, behind the boy that's kneeling and wearing a red tie. They all were so cute, as they are every year. Seems like Sarah was just doing this...... time flies.

Speaking of time flying, I asked the kids to hold the hand ornamant that I made for each of them for their first Christmas. I did this for both of them - each year at Christmas I would trace their hand and make an ornament. Look how tiny they were and how big they are getting!....

 

 

Now those hands are sitting out in the living room building something with Legos and working on a latch hook rug. These hands need to get out to the kitchen to start supper. :-)

Glad to see what you all have been up too. It is nice to pass down some traditions to the kids. Some day they will teach their children how to decorate the Christmas tree. The way time flies it will seem all too soon!
