I made my December Daily Album and let me tell you, I dug deep into my stash and pulled out some oooooooooold stuff! I'll share a few of my favorite spreads now, and when December does arrive and I start using my journal, I'll post each day then.
So, here we go....
The aftermath!!!!!! I should have a wide angle because the creative mess spreads across the whole place, all flat surfaces, my half of the bed and the floor!
the front
Breaking out the shrink plastic again (love that stuff). The 2008 charm on the bead chain is translucent (white-ish)..
and the number 25 on the front is clear. It turned out really neat - almost like a piece of broken glass - because it has an irregular shape....
A few of my faves from inside...
^I used an egg carton for the front and back covers, so the corrugated cardboard shows - love that! The first day is a pair of large slides, back to back. I've had those slides forever. And I made a few tabs and scattered them throughout the album, like the one above - 'the countdown is on'.
^Paint chips, back to back. Those cute little openings are just crying out to be used!
^A homemade transparency from my friend Petrina (hi P!). Love this stuff.
^A paint sample booklet. (Couldn't you just cozy up on there with a plate of warm chocolate chip cookies and a glass of milk?) The booklet opens up.
^A plastic divided sleeve. And remember those Fresh Cuts from Rebecca Sower????? Yeah, like I said, diggin' deep.
^ My favorite of all - the vintage Christmas card featuring you-know-who! Behind him is a calendar page that I plan on using with tiny index-sized prints, one labeled digitally for each day.
The end! I'll probably be posting these images plus a few more at TwoPeas and on Flickr when I get the chance.
Also, today is a 'daily details' day! I've been capturing Halloween details and will share those with you tomorrow.
Happy Halloween by the way!!!!
This is gorgeous! You did a beautiful job!
