The new lines are starting to arrive at the store!
Today, we got in four new Bo Bunny lines ( I took the images from their blog - they don't have their site updated yet)....
Visit us soon - it's all so cute it will fly out the door!
We also restocked the For Peeps Sake Easter papers. (The whole line was gone within a week!) This time there are some stickers and chipboard flowers to match the line. :-)

I have a layout and a little project to share with you. I'll be hanging these at the store in my product showcase area.
I used Grungeboard -cool, cool stuff - in 'basic swirls' from Tim Holtz. I made these carrots by freehand drawing carrot shapes, cutting them out, then painting them orange with a Ranger Sunset Orange paint dabber. When the paint dried, I sanded the edges and across the top of the raised surface on the Grungeboard. Then I used Ranger Vintage Photo distress ink to accent the edges and tops of the swirls. Finally, I brushed a coat of Making Memories Glitter Specialty Glaze across the carrots...
The green trim at the top is from Making Memories....
The 'so yummy' letters are Thickers alphabet stickers. And the little bunny accent is another piece of grungeboard covered with a white cat's eye ink pad and then sprinkled with clear embossing powder and heat set. The crystal brads are Making Memories and the bunny sticker is ancient, almost nine years old....
The layout has a Grungeboard accent across the bottom of the focal point photo......
I used paint from a Ranger paint dabber (Pool) and mixed it with Making Memories Pearl Specialty Glaze to get this effect on the grungeboard....
The striped kraft background paper is Making Memories as are the glitter alphas (boys). More Thickers stickers. A scrap of Scenic Route polka dot paper. Here is the journaling close up....

(I saw this on Nicole's and Gigi's blogs....)
What's his name? Todd
How long have you been together? Since our first date, March 4, 1989 (holy smokes that's approaching 19 years!!!!!)
How long did you date before moving in together? We were together for five years.... dating for three, engaged for two, until we moved in together on our wedding night, April 23, 1994. Yup. I'm old fashioned.
How old is he? 40
Who eats more? him
Who said I love you first? he did, sitting on the sofa in his parent's family room.
Who is taller? him. He's 6 foot, I'm 5 foot 5 inches.
Who is smarter? I think he is, especially when it comes to math. I always say that side of my brain doesn't work.
Who does laundry? me. In fact load number one is buzzing in the dryer right now. Loads two, three and four are waiting.
Who does the dishes? me again. Although if I'm at work on a Sunday he usually cleans up from the day's mess.
Who sleeps on the right side of the bed? him.
Who pays the bills? I write the checks, he makes the $$$$.
Who mows the lawn? him. I have no idea how to even start the tractor. The tractor is huge, we have 7 acres to mow so we need a big tractor.
Who cooks dinner? me. He works very long hours, so I usually fix a plate for him and keep it warm until he gets home. I must say, however, that when he does cook it is always fabulous.
Who drives when you are together? Todd.
Who is more stubborn? uh, that would be me.
Who kissed who first? He kissed me first... it was at my friend's apartment at college, on our first date.
Who asked out who first? That would be me. No, wait. Todd actually asked me out in tenth grade. I moved to a new school district and I met him on my bus ( he lived about a mile down the road ). At the last minute I couldn't go on the date and when he came to my front door to pick me up I had to tell him I couldn't go. He never asked me out again (wounded pride, I guess!!) but we always sort of liked each other throughout high school. It wasn't until my junior year of college ( six years later ) that I thought what the heck, I'll call him and ask him to come out to a party at school. That was March 4, 1989. The rest, as they say, is history.
Who proposed? He did, in the parking lot of the Phillipsburg Mall in New Jersey.
Who has more siblings? Biologically, Todd. He has an older and a younger sister. I have one biological brother, but I also have two half brothers, one half sister, and two step brothers.
Who wears the pants in the family? I would say we both are equals. However, I also think this quote from Lorelai Gillmore fits me too.... As long as everything is exactly the way I want it I'm totally flexible! I think Todd would agree!!!!!

Baby shower!!!! Baby shower!!!!!
At last - the day came and went, and I do believe we surprised her! My sister in law's shower was a success.
whew
The theme in the nursery is Hey diddle diddle, so that was our theme at the shower....
Our centerpieces....
And, I had to get a picture of my two sisters in law bumping bellies....
Amy (left), is due at the beginning of March and Leann (our shower girl) is due at the end of March.
I gave Leann a special gift and I wrote a poem to go along with it. (The baby-to-be is doing the talking.) This is the front of the card that was in with the gift.... (okay. I keep trying but the image and type are squashed short. I am tired and I'm going to leave it as is... I think you can still read what it says, especially if you click on the image to see it bigger)
I wrote it last night and then cried my eyes out. Leann's sister had to read it out loud to the guests because Leann was too emotional.
I hope they keep it safe and our grandkids will be able to wear it someday. That would be cool.
I am now retiring for the evening. I have that big let-down after all the whirlwind goings-on today. :-)
