I go about things at my own pace. Usually one comparable to a snail.
Like my bathroom redecorating project. I stripped everything off the walls way back in June and I still have spackling spots on the walls and a trip to the paint store on the agenda.
This project came about because I had allergy skin testing done in June and it showed that I'm allergic to mold, dust mites and, of all things, cockroaches. (Why they test you for allergy to cockroaches I'll never know.)
So, I'm all gung-ho to get rid of the stuff that's giving me grief (not cockroaches, by the way. None of those babies around here) and I rip the bathroom apart in June and here it is, about 12 minutes away from December 1st. Like I said, in my own good time.
I have made progress on other allergy related fronts. Several weeks ago I finally ordered dust mite proof bedding. I washed it and set it on my sewing machine table and there it sat for about a week. Yesterday I took the sheets off the bed and purposely didn't put any back on so that when it was bed time I'd have Todd here to help put the special bedding on. I wasn't quite as stuffy this morning when I woke up. Hopefully it will help.
Tonight I met my parents at Sears. They bought Todd and me our Christmas present a bit early. A HEPA vacuum cleaner. While I was there I also bought a HEPA air filter for our bedroom.
I guess I really should get to the paint store. My brother was here a few days ago and asked if I was done with the bathroom (yet). (He didn't say the "yet" but I knew what he meant!) Give me a few months. I'll get right on it. :)
