Wow.
Two whole months of summer vacation under our belts. One month to go.
Here is week eight's layout (click on image to see it larger) {oh, and I was asked, "When I click on the image it pops up in a bigger screen, but the bottom is cut off. How do I view that part?" At the bottom of the pop-up box in the right corner there should be a box that says 100%. Click on that box and other viewing sizes will appear. Just pick a larger size, like 125%, and you should then be able to scroll the image up and down and side to side. Just a little FYI in case you couldn't see the rest of the image ;-) }

Some 'Stuff'
We survived our fourth year at the Creating Keepsakes Convention in Valley Forge. Woohoo! We had a bigger booth this year and less people helping and we still rocked the house as far as I'm concerned.
Unfortunately, because we had fewer people, free time was limited, so I didn't get as many pictures as I would have liked. I took Stacy Julian's class on Thursday night and I got a picture of her teaching. When I looked at the image later, Stacy's eyes are closed. Oh well. The few pictures I got are in my week 8 layout, above.
My class, Stuff Happens, was a lot of fun. The girls were so friendly, they made me feel totally comfortable up there, blabbing away about stuff. I'd like to share some stuff from my class.....
First of all, I wonder how many times I said stuff? I really wanted to give a prize away to whoever knew the exact amount of times I said stuff, but since I didn't even know, it was impossible!!!! I felt like George Carlin doing his stuff act ( <---- there is some adult language there, just so you know).
The main point that I wanted to get across is that we all have stuff. But, our stuff is unique to us. And it should be documented. Think about it. One example I gave is how, as a woman, you most likely carry a purse. We all have a purse. We all have stuff in our purse. But no two purse's stuff is the same, because we are not the same.
I'll be showing you some of the projects that I created for my class over the next few weeks. Several of them are works in progress. Do you remember the Fun Stuff album I showed you the cover of a few weeks ago? Here is a look inside....
This project is based on scrapbooking stuff - which I seem to have a lot of for some reason! - that I love to look at and play with....
(you know the drill, click on them to see them larger)
every girl needs a little bling now and then.... I love these Heidi swapp crowns..
this was fun... the clear shape reminded me of a cloud, so I have the elephant holding the cloud on a string....
This album is a work in progress. I will fill it up with more of my favorite fun stuff!
Go and look through your scrapbooking stuff. What stuff do you love. Make something special with it. Just for you.
Watch for more stuff about stuff in the next few weeks! :-)
Since I figured out how to get YouTube vidoes on my blog I'm going to share (per Sarah's request) the video I took from Sarah's dance recital. This is actually from the rehersal the day before the recital (that's why you may catch a glimpse of her instructor's arm behind the curtain).
The video is not very clear, but it's good enough to see her dance. Sarah is the first one to take a step and cross over, so you can follow her from there. Watch for the moonwalk!
And now, drumroll please, Sarah and her partner dancing to Smooth Criminal......
(I messed up with the security settings when I loaded it on YouTube and now I can't embed it on my blog, so you have to go there to watch. Live and Learn!)
