When you visit the Crafts 'n Things® website you can sign up for free access to their online weekly issue of featured projects. A patriotic project that I designed for Krylon featuring repurposed glass bottles is now posted.
It's a fun, simple craft and you could actually create this design in any color combo. The recycled bottles are a great idea for party table centerpieces. :-)
I used Fourth of July table scatter from Michael's craft stores for the accents on the tops on the topiaries. I hot glued two together, back-to-back, with a wooden sandwich pick (painted to match) in between the pieces.
Finally, my Patriotic Wrap and Roll Bandana Wreath.....
Again, get the supply list and instructions, here, at the crafts n' coffee blog.
This wreath is very quick and easy to make. The bandana strips are wide, so you can cover the wreath in no time at all. And the accents are simple ribbon loops, more table scatter on picks and a few white felt roses.
The Fourth of July is becoming easier to decorate for with all the fun patriotic craft ideas out there! :-)
Looking for a fun, all-American craft to make for your July 4th party? I have just the thing! I designed a wreath for STYROFOAM™ Brand Foam using a foam wreath, bandanas, a few patriotic ribbons and scissors. That's it!
I have a patriotic project idea featured on the Krylon website - just in time for the 4th of July! The pot and vases would be great table centerpieces for a picnic, or to decorate your home for the summer months.
Krylon's Glitter Blast paint is really pretty in person (you can't fully appreciate the texture and shimmer from the picture) and comes in a lot of great colors. You could use this idea and technique with any color scheme. Be creative!
