I have a design featured in the latest issue of Create & Decorate (January/February 2012). It's my sweetheart rose wreath.
You need a Styrofoam Brand Foam open heart wreath (6" x 1"), 1/4 yard of fabric, beading pins, glitter glue and glitter, a hot glue gun, old book pages and scissors. For complete step-by-step instructions see page 82 in the magazine. I'll just give you a brief run-through here.
Wrap the wreath with strips of fabric, pinning in place. Make lots of paper roses from the old book pages (I made mine several layers thick for a nice, full rose) and hot glue them to the wreath.
Cover the heart completely with roses. Then start with a few neighboring roses and brush glitter glue on the centers. Sprinkle your glitter over the wet glue and shake/tap off excess.
Repeat glueing and glittering until you have the whole wreath done.

Very beautiful. The glitter glue, already with glitter? or just glue you use for the glitter?
